Breathe! – Correct breathing, the secret to relaxation.

The Power of Breath: How conscious breathing can change your life.

Are you breathing? This question may seem strange at first, but it brings into focus an important aspect of our lives that we often overlook. Your breath accompanies you constantly, and yet you are rarely consciously aware of it. In this article, you'll discover how conscious breathing can actually impact your well-being, your leadership skills, and your relationships.

The power of conscious breathing

Think about this for a moment:
How often do you notice your own breathing during the course of a day? Most of us would probably admit that we are barely aware of how we breathe. According to scientific data, you breathe about 20,000 times a day. But how many of these breaths do you consciously perceive?
Official figures say that humans only really perceive about 1%. 1 %! Isn't it almost shocking how little attention we, and probably you, give to the most important essence of our body? As a reminder: After a few minutes the brain is damaged and after about 10 minutes without oxygen the brain dies.

When you take the time to breathe deeply and slowly, something amazing happens.
You interrupt the hectic flow of your life, slow down your physical reactions and reduce stress in your body. This means a reduction in stress hormones like cortisol and a calming of your thoughts. The result is that you think more clearly and become more aware of what you are reacting to.

Breathing and leadership

The ability to breathe consciously is not only a useful technique for personal well-being, but also a critical skill for leaders. Modern diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes are often linked to high cortisol levels, which are actually triggered by stress. Learning to control and deepen your breathing can help reduce your stress levels and therefore protect your health.

But it goes further. Stress is contagious. If you walk into a room stressed, the people around you will also be affected. You're probably familiar with this: whether it's your children, customers or colleagues - people sense tension.
By breathing consciously and becoming calmer yourself, you have the chance to bring about a positive change in your environment.

Neglecting breathing techniques

In many leadership training courses, the importance of breath control and awareness is often overlooked. Not just deep breathing, but intentional application of breathing techniques can make a significant difference. Most people are not trained to use this simple but powerful resource.

Consciousness breathing. I invite you to go one step further

Through conscious breathing, for example through your third eye, you can also improve your ability to focus and achieve deep clarity for the important and challenging questions of your personal life. Of course, this also applies to all professional decisions.
Your so-called “super intelligence” abilities and your inner compass reach new levels.

Difference between intelligence and super intelligence

The classic definition of intelligence, particularly in the context of spirituality, often focuses on the abilities of the mind and the clear perception of internal and external realities. It involves the unfolding of consciousness and the development of wisdom through meditation, reflection and spiritual practice.

In contrast, the term “super-intelligence” implies an expanded state of consciousness that goes beyond the traditional limits of human cognition. Super-intelligence could be interpreted as a higher mental state achieved through intensified meditation, deep meditative experiences, and a fuller connection with universal consciousness. It represents a deeper unity with the source of all being.

A few more thoughts at the end

Your body goes with you everywhere.
So why not consider its signals and sensations as important clues?
Conscious breathing is not only a skill you can develop for yourself, but also one that can have a positive impact on your family and team.
Use the wisdom of your own body as a brilliant guide to a healthier, less stressful life and more effective leadership.
The next time you feel stressed or overwhelmed, remember this:

Breathe consciously. It could change your life.
